In Coalville since 1976
RJ Motorcycles was established in 1976 to provide spares, servicing, repairs and complete rebuilds for British motorcycles including BSA, Norton, Triumph, AJS and Matchless. In the early days the shop was known for the bespoke construction of Norton featherbed based cafe racers using 650SS, Atlas and Commando engines, these being built to the customers specification. A MOT facility was added a few years later resulting in the addition of spares and servicing for Japanese and Italian bikes.

We have recently purchased a comprehensive stock of Triumph spares including new, new-old-stock and used parts for pre-unit twins, unit twins, Tiger Cubs and triples. These include engine and gearbox parts, cycle-parts and electrical components. Please contact us with your requirements.

We have recently purchased a comprehensive stock of post-war BSA spares including new, new-old-stock and used parts for A/B Group pre-unit and unit singles and twins and Bantams. These include engine and gearbox parts, cycle-parts and electrical components. Please contact us with your requirements.
AJS & Matchless spares
We have new and used spares for mainly post-war singles. and. twins including engine, gearbox (Burman & AMC), primary and some cycle-parts. In addition we have Lucas and Wipac components and bits for magnetos and dynamos. Contact us with your requirements.

MOT, repairs & servicing
At RJ Motorcycles we offer MOTs, servicing, repairs (to bikes both old and modern), engine rebuilds, complete restorations, wheel building, chroming, powder-coating, zinc plating, rebores, crank repairs, welding and general engineering. Contact us to book the workshop.

Stock overview
The shop holds comprehensive stocks of new and used parts for post-war BSA, Norton and Triumph bikes including many new old stock items. Additionally we have new and used parts for post-war AMC singles and twins and for other British makes too. We have some new old stock items for the AJS Stormer off-road machines. We also stock parts for Japanese bikes. We keep a range of lubricants and consumables such as sprockets, chains, batteries, cables, tyres, bulbs, brake pads, brake shoes and electrical components.
