R J Motorcycles was established in 1976 to provide a spares, service and restoration facility for British motorcycles. The shop became well-known for producing bespoke café racers based on Norton Featherbed frames housing a variety of Norton twin engines and also sponsored Rob Sewell who successfully raced a Dominator in the 'Battle Of The Twins' and vintage series races around the country. A large quantity of spares was amassed covering post-war BSA, Triumph, Norton, AJS and Matchless machines.
